ALP2 Ass2 Outdoor portrait
Pre production notes
Will shoot either on the stairs on the side of the cafeteria or the other side of the cafeteria, next to the theatre building. . The subject just cancelled on me so I ‘ll have to find someone tomorrow. I had a plan in case of rain but now it’ll depend on the person I find to photograph..

I want to borrow a wide angle lens from school for a distorted and interesting effect if not i will use my 18-55
1.What is your intention in terms of how you plan to use the available light?
Use a lot of the available light but also experiment with making it look like evening
2. What is the reason for your lens choice?
(Do you want the compression of a long lens or the exaggerated perspective of a wide angle, fixed focal length or zoom)?
I would like to get the exaggerated perspective of a wide angle
3. What aperture do you plan to use and why?
A pretty small aperture to have a big depth of field to be able to distinguish well the architectural components
4. What shutter speed to you plan to use and why?
I don’t know because it depends on the light reading but no more than 1/250
5. Do you have enough available light to achieve these camera settings?
There should be lots of available light
6. Do you have enough strobe to achieve these settings?
One strobe will be plenty
7. Do you have too much light to achieve these settings?
Shouldn’t be a problem with a small aperture
8. Are there any technical problems that will need to be addressed at the shoot or in post-production?
Will probably have to clean up the garbage both in pre and post production
9. How will you be addressing color balance?
Probably shoot with automatic or adjust accordingly. Could use graycard
10. What is the equipment you will need for the shoot?
1. White lighting
2. Umbrella
3. Vagabond
4. Lightmeter
5. Sandbag
6. Stand
7. Cybersynch
8. Graycard
9. Reflector
10. 10-24 nikkor(if available)
Are there any other special requirements or information?
Gotta remember to take some notes about the person for the paragraph

The Love Of The Nightingale by Timberlake Wertenbaker was a great success for the 2nd Year Studio Production students of Dawson. Kyle, a first year law student at Dawson College has come to see his friend Victoria Smith who plays an extra in the piece. He was one of the many spectators that filled the lobby on the afternoon of October 1st, in anticipation of the play's last presentation.
